I really wanted to create a version of the original Mama’s Gotta Work that would be available as a print, but didn’t want it to be exactly the same. I also leaked ink onto the paper, which is is what led to that drippy flower. Happy accident?
This artwork was created using Posca pens on watercolour paper, and then professionally scanned and digitised to be ready to print. It’s then printed by me using a very, heavy, very large printer on professional grade, archival paper and packaged by hand. All my prints are shipped in heavy duty, reinforced cardboard envelopes and biodegradable, plastic free slips.
